Kapala means forehead and Bhati means light. So Kapala bhati pranayam makes forehead luminous and lustrous. In this more attention is given to exhalation or rechak forcefully. In this pranayam purak or inhalation is done with normal force but exhalation or rechak has to be done with much of force. In this process abdominal area makes inward and outward movements. A healthy person should do it everyday for 15 minutes and any body with acute and chronic diseases should do 30 or more minutes for maximum benefits.
